Alsatian architecture reflects a rich history at the crossroads of French and Germanic influences. In the historic center of Strasbourg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, particularly in the Petite France district, one finds half-timbered houses with colorful facades as well as timber-framed buildings.
These iconic Alsatian buildings are captivating in their charm, but often require interior renovations to meet modern comfort standards and lifestyles. These buildings, some of which are listed as historical monuments, demand specialized expertise to reconcile respect for their historical character with modern interior design.
